Observation status is continued to apply to AB Žemaitijos pienas

Vilnius, Lithuania, 2016-09-05 10:06 CEST -- Nasdaq Vilnius decided to continue to apply observation status to AB Žemaitijos pienas (ZMP1L, ISIN code: LT0000121865) based on the Company's announcement that a letter from the Company’s shareholder Algirdas Pažemeckas regarding the intention to submit a tender offer aimed at delisting the shares of the Company from trading on AB Nasdaq Vilnius was received on 1 September 2016.

The observation status was applied to AB Žemaitijos pienas as from 4 August 2016 after the Company's announcement on the decision of the Company's Board to recommend to the general meeting of shareholders of the Company to consider the question regarding delisting of the shares of the Company from trading on the regulated market AB Nasdaq Vilnius and non-execution of the public offering of the shares of the Company and for this purpose to convene the general meeting of shareholders of the Company on 26 August 2016.

The purpose of applying observation status is to alert the market participants.
