Swedish wind farm Jung-Åsa has been handed over to Munich Re

All conditions for the completion of the transaction between Eolus and MEAG, asset manager of Munich Re, regarding the sale of the Swedish wind farm Jung-Åsa comprising of 12 MW have been fulfilled and the buyer has taken over the facility.

On December 7th 2015 Eolus signed an agreement with MEAG regarding the sale of two wind farms of 38.4 MW in total to Munich Re. An agreement has also been made under which Eolus will provide asset management services for the two wind farms. All conditions for the fulfillment of the part of the transaction regarding the operational wind farm Jung-Åsa in Vara municipality comprising of six Vestas V90 2.0 MW wind turbines have been met, payment have occurred and the buyer has taken over the facility.

Wind farm Iglasjön in Kungsbacka municipality comprising of eight Vestas V112 3.3 MW wind turbines of 26.4 MW is under construction and is expected to be commissioned and handed over to Munich Re during the autumn 2016.
